Modern Building Company is a diverse northern California-based general contractor, excited to continue the legacy of building with passion and doing what we love to do. Founded in 1946, Modern has grown steadily, recently celebrating their 75th anniversary in business. The companys first project was building Quonset huts during World War II. Since those early days, Modern has continued to expand their capabilities and experience to better serve their clients and continue to add to their long list of raving fans. Although the majority of our work is in Northern California, we are licensed in the states of California, Oregon, Nevada and Montana. Work in these neighboring states is the direct result of satisfied clients who requested we travel to meet their needs on subsequent projects, including as far as North Carolina.
