Modern English School was established in the year 1984. The journey started on the 12th of June 1984 with a small group of eleven students and six teachers with classes from I to VI. Late Kuladhar Das, who worked tirelessly to set up the school, founded it. It has been a long journey since 1984. He always believed that achieving excellence in life is not impossible if we work hard for it. According to him, if Modern English School has to grow as an institution, each and every member of this school must have determination, perseverance and patience. We have always asserted that each child is special and unique in his/her own way. Our emphasis has always been on an enabling teaching and learning environment as it is the positive learning environment that develops the potential of each child ultimately benefiting the society as a whole.
