Mofatama Group (Mofatama) was established in 2001, started with running a business in the property sector as a Residential Developer and joined The Coal trading business in 2008. After years of trying and seeing the demand of Coal, Mofatama Energi continues to grow and develop the business in energy sector and electricity sector. Mofatama gained the energy sector called The Buttu Batu 200 MW hydroelectric power which is located in Enrekang, South Sulawesi. Our hydro power plant is expected to operate commercially (COD Commercial Operation Date) by the end of 2027. As we committed with the world leaders to avoid global warming, Mofatama added a business portfolio in the electricity sector by acquiring the 300 MW Tinauka hydro power project which is helping the government to improve the renewable energy for a better future.
