Mohamed Sathak Institutions

All praises are to God Almighty. The Charitable Mohamed Sathak Trust was started in the year 1973 by Five brothers and Four brother-in-laws in the loving memory of their father Janab. Mohamed Sathak Thampy, who was the Jameen of Mayakulam and the surrounding region and later on as the President of the Kilakarai Panchayat Union for several times. The aim of the Trust was to promote Technical Education and train the students to cope with the technological needs of the day. Initially, the Trust was offering scholarships to poor students for their education. In the year1980, their first institution Mohamed Sathak Polytechnic College was established and the Mohamed Sathak Engineering College (MSEC) was started in the year 1984 as the very first Self finance Engineering College in the State of Tamil Nadu (G.O.
