Molitor, an iconic place to experience Paris differently. Inaugurated in 1929, Molitor was for 60 years the most popular swimming pool in Paris for its two pools, its galas and its avant-garde atmosphere. Closed in 1989 and listed as a historical monument, the venue was taken over by artists who turned the abandoned building into a huge urban art space, becoming the temple of the Parisian underground. On 19 May 2014, after 3 years of construction work, Molitor wrote a new chapter in its history by becoming the current venue based around three words: Pool, Art, Life. Today, Molitor is part of the Accor Groups MGallery Hotel Collection brand.
