The Monash University Surgical Interest Group (MUSIG) was initially formed in 2008. We are a committee of medical students who are passionate about promoting the field of surgery to the students at Monash Medical School. There is a growing interest in surgery and it is our aim to help students navigate the pathways to becoming a surgeon and encourage them to become the surgeons of the future.
