About Monihan Realty, Inc. As one of Ocean Citys oldest, original real estate companies, Monihan Realty was founded at 3201 Central Avenue by Robert and Joy Monihan in 1947. Robert and Joys sons, Michael and Jeffrey entered the family business and over the years assumed management responsibilities in addition to selling, listing, and renting properties. In 1986, Michael and Jeffrey took the firms helm when Robert retired, and, in 1987, they opened a second office at 717 Battersea Road.
