Monkey Baa is Australias widest-reaching theatre company for young people. For over two decades, we have empowered young people through theatre. We care deeply about connecting young people with meaningful art and this is evidenced by the fact that we tour to many communities that better-resourced theatre companies do not. In 22 years, we have conducted 28 national tours to 135 regional and remote communities across every state and territory of Australia, four international tours, with over 2,500 performances, engaging with 1.5 million young people. For 7 years, our Sydney venue has showcased the best theatre for young people from companies around Australia and overseas. Our Vision To make theatre an intrinsic part of young peoples lives.
