Montgomery County SPCA - Pennsylvania

The MCSPCA is a non-profit, open-admission animal shelter servicing the Montgomery County area. We have three site locations in Abington, Conshohocken, and Perkiomenville. Our mission is to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout Montgomery County. We accomplish this through two main initiatives: * Humane Education Program We visit schools, camps, and other events to talk to kids about the humane treatment of animals, responsible pet care and other relevant topics. We also bring our certified therapy dog to visit nursing homes and community events. * Animal Cruelty Investigations Our Humane Society Police Officers investigate, order corrections, or file charges in court as necessary. We enforce the animal cruelty laws of PA and follow up on every report filed.
