Monument Assurance Luxembourg S.A. (MAL) is a fully licensed Luxembourg life insurance company regulated by the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA), with branches in Spain, Italy and Germany. Its strategy is to acquire, by portfolio transfer or entity purchase, legacy guaranteed and linked portfolios. The current portfolio includes both traditional life and unit-linked business. The company was established in 2000 to distribute its products to individual customers via its branches in Italy, Germany and Spain, and on a cross-border basis mainly to Belgium, Italy, France and Germany.
