Mortgage Refinancing Company of Uzbekistan (UzMRC)

Mortgage Refinancing Company of Uzbekistan was established by the Ministry of Finance on 4 November 2019 on the basis of the Presidents decree no 5715 dd. 13 May 2019. Main objective of UzMRC is to promote affordable housing through development of primary and secondary mortgage markets. UzMRC aims to raise the standards of mortgage lending practices in Uzbekistan through (re)financing of qualifying mortgage loans extended by banks. In doing so, UzMRC will issue long dated corporate bonds and contribute to the development of debt capital markets in Uzbekistan
