Motihari College of Engineering, Motihari ( Govt. of Bihar )

Motihari College of Engineering (MCE), Motihari is a government college, fully funded by the government of Bihar. It is affiliated to Bihar Engineering University, Patna and approved by AICTE (New Delhi). Previously the institute was known as Indian College of Engineering and was established on 24 November 1980. In 1986, the college was taken over by the Bihar government. Later in November 2008, the Government reopen the institute & the name was changed from Indian College of Engineering to Motihari College of Engineering. 2018 is the glorious year in the history of college, MCE got 22 faculty members from MHRD-NPIU under TEQIP-III program, and 26 faculties from Bihar Public Service commission in all the departments. Recently Motihari College of Engineering signed Twinning Agreement with JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad at MHRD New Delhi.
