Motus Technical Academy

The Motus Technical Academy opened their first technical training centre in Cape Town in 2008, followed by another in Germiston in Gauteng in 2009 to address the urgent need for qualified artisans in the South African automotive industry. At the Motus Technical Academy the focus falls on basic apprentice training master technician training will happen at the particular car brands company, among others Hyundai Automotive South Africa and KIA Motors SA. Training at the Academy is offered not only for the whole Motus Group, but also for outside clients. Our curriculum has a generic training base, it is not brand specific. Several different automotive brands engine blocks are used for training, for instance. Presently we have on average between 65 and 70 trainees per week that pass through the academy.
