Mount Pleasant Community School District

The District is the thirty-sixth largest of Iowas 370 public school systems. Located in the southeastern section of Iowa, we are 45 minutes directly south of Iowa City and the University of Iowa. The enrollment of the school district is approximately 2,050 students. The District operates one regular comprehensive High School (grades 9-12), one alternative high school; WisdomQuest (grades 10-12), one Middle School (grades 6-8), and four elementary schools; Van Allen, Lincoln, Harlan and Salem (grades K-5). The District provides a full range of services appropriate to students grades Kindergarten through twelve.
