MRL Humanoid

RoboCup uses soccer as a research area to develop a team of humanoid robots that can win the human world champion soccer team in 2050. In the Humanoid League, human-like fully autonomous robots play soccer against each other and meanwhile handle stable walking, visual perception of the ball, players, and the field, modelling and kicking the ball, and also self-localization. The RoboCup soccer-playing robots introduce challenges in design, control, stability, and behaviour of autonomous humanoid robots.
