Mt. Holiday

Mt. Holiday is dedicated to furnishing year-round outdoor recreational opportunities within a secure, pristine, and inclusive setting for individuals spanning all age groups. In 1949, a cohort of Traverse City locals came together to establish what is now known as Mt. Holiday, envisioning a haven for skiing and outdoor enthusiasts. After a vibrant history, the year 2002 marked a pivotal moment as Mt. Holiday obtained its 501(c)(3) non-profit status, and its sustenance relies entirely on the generosity of the community. At present, Mt. Holiday presents an array of 14 ski and snowboard runs accommodating a spectrum of skill levels, complemented by an exhilarating tubing hill and surrounding trails perfect for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
