Murphy Oil Corporation is an independent exploration and production company with a strong oil-weighted portfolio of global offshore and onshore assets with upside to our exploration program. Malaysia operations Murphy began operations in Malaysia in 1999 and is involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas offshore Sabah and Sarawak. Sabah - Murphy operates the Kikeh deepwater field, Malaysias first deepwater project. Initially discovered in 2002 with first production in 2007, Murphy and its partner are recognized as pioneers of implementing deepwater technology in Malaysia.
