Musee dethnographie de Geneve - MEG

The MEG is a deeply human museum. It is a place for sharing and discovering the cultures of the world,looking at the challenges of todays society from various angles. The MEG stands out for the quality of its exhibitions and its collections made up of objects from five continents and touching more than 1,500 cultures. The MEG is a place where everything is possible, a place that sparkles curiosity and fosters encounters. Shows, concerts, lectures, talks, panel discussions, film screenings, workshops and guided tours are just a sample of the experiences offered to the public in connection with the exhibitions. Since November 2014, the MEGs wealth of treasures is showcased in a new building designed by the Zurich office of Graber & Pulver Architekten on the site the museum has occupied since 1941.
