Musei no Tora Bujinkan

Musei Tora Bujinkan is a very small and private study group for the community of Knoxville and offers Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu as delivered by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. While this is a military martial art honed to perfection in secrecy and on the battlefield, training is kept serious, but in a playful and relaxed manner. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu training incorporates classical armed and unarmed Samurai methods of fighting. This includes traditional and modern weapons as well. Because of the effectiveness of the art utilizing shinkengata (actual combat skill), participation in tournaments and contests is strictly prohibited. These techniques were developed to be used in a time of imminent life and death survival, not for a match in a ring.
