Musically Minded Academy

Musically Minded Academy is an East Bay non-profit music school offering private and group lessons to children and adults at all skill levels. Currently serving communities such as Rockridge, Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda, we provide instruction in Piano, Guitar, Electric Bass, Percussion, Saxophone, Violin, Viola, Flute, Clarinet, and Voice. Our students also have the opportunity to rehearse and perform in ensembles of various sizes. History: We started in living room as a sole proprietorship with one instructor. In 2007, Musically Minded incorporated as a non-profit. From 2007-2009 we grew 400% and expanded into a 600 sq. foot garage with five teachers. Our widely successful program has now led us to our new 10 year lease in our 6018-foot commercial facility beginning in 2010. We now have eleven instructors and are enrolling new students every day!
