Muthaiga Tea Co. is a proud woman owned enterprise. Our company was founded to showcase the artistry of African tea making, our unique African soil, and the rich cultures that inspire or blends. We source our teas from small holder farmers in Africa who encourage women entrepreneurship and support community growth, environmental awareness and ethical production. Our founder trained at the UK Tea Academy and the Cambridge Tea Academy to become a Certified Tea Sommelier, and is one of the first people in East Africa to gain this accreditation.
