He founded Central Valley Endocrinology in 2007, a state-of-the-art endocrine practice in Central California that provides exceptional care for adults in the rural Hanford-Visalia area which serves half a million people. He discovered that diabetes occurs at higher rates in rural versus urban areas, and people living in these rural areas have more diabetes-related complications. This scenario motivated Dr. Sahas to establish My Diabetes Tutor, Inc.
