NAD, School of Digital Arts, Animation and Design - UQAC

The Nad is a training centre and a research and development establishment in 3D animation, visual effects, design and digital arts. Established in 1992, the NAD became in 2008 the result of an innovative partnership between the Cgep of Jonquire and the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi and now offers private and undergraduate programs. The NAD has trained more than 1 500 CGI professionals who currently work in film and television, post-production and gaming industries for renowned companies around the world such as: Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Industrial Light and Magic, Digital Dimension, Beenox Activision, Framestore, DNEG, Digital Domain, Gameloft etc. The NAD is also an Authorized Training Centre (ATC) for the leading digital content creation software companies like Autodesk, Avid, eyeon Software, Pixel Farm, Toon Boom and Houdini.
