Welcome to the NAEP! Our organization has been developed to provide direct benefits to equine practitioners throughout the United States. We recognize that the needs of equine practitioners are quite unique in the veterinary community. Because the majority of many states VMA membership is comprised of small animal practitioners, these topics naturally become the focus for their conferences. Additionally, we have observed significant variation in the practice of equine veterinary medicine on a regional basis.
