Nanda has been a hot item in the news, and Clocky has been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Big Idea, The New York Time Year In Ideas, ID & Dwell, to name just a few. Clocky can be purchased in 45 countries. The company will launch 2-3 new products in early 2010. Nanda was started by Gauri Nanda when she was a graduate student at the MIT Media Lab. The Clocky alarm clock evolved out of Gauris own need for an alarm clock that wouldnt let her snooze repeatedly. She created a prototype for a class project and a flurry of unexpected attention by the press ensued. Gauri was featured on the cover of Inc. magazine in July 2007.
