Naseeb Maritime Company

Naseeb Maritime Co., W.L.L. was established in 1952 as a family owned business operating tugs and barges for movement of commercial cargo within the Gulf region. It started its operations in Mid 1950s through transport of goods and passengers from and to Kuwait Old Port. The company operated on the strength of Late. Mohammed Jafar Naseeb whose long term vision at that time helped the company grow to its present strength. Back in 1968, it was in fact the first national company to be awarded a contract by the Kuwait Oil Company for the provision of sea operations and services. Later in 1989, Naseeb was also awarded to transport rocks from Ras Al Khaima to Kuwait for the prestigious Amiri Diwan Project. Among many other projects the company was also involved in transporting Hyundai earth moving equipment from Kuwait to Bahrain by its Barges.
