Since 1958 the Nassau Countys Fire Service Academy has taken pride in providing quality training programs that enable countys fire departments to discharge their responsibilities as firefighters, company officers, and department officers in an efficient and effective manner while minimizing the risk to their own personal safety. We also assist the countys 71 fire departments to comply with New York State OSHA regulations and firefighting standards of the National Fire Protection Association
