Teaching Institute of Public Health of Primorsko-Goranska County is a health institution which conducts public health activities in the area of Primorsko-Goranska County, an expert, but also teaching preventative public health institution, which is turning into a university scientific regional institute with the goal of providing a higher level of public health care for the wider region, which besides Primorsko-Goranska County includes the neighbouring counties. Teaching Institute of Public Health is managed by the Primorsko-Goranska County, and it represents one of the four leading Institutes of Public Health (besides Zagreb, Split and Osijek) in Croatia. It operates independently on the level of the county, with the professional coordination by the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
