National Association of Youth Workers

National Association of Youth Workers (Nacionalna asocijacija prakticara/ki omladinskog rada - NAPOR) is union of 94 NGOs which practice youth work throughout Serbia. NAPOR is established in 2009 with the aim of professionalization of youth work in Serbia and advocating for official recognition of youth work as vocation, as well as for recognition of youth work programs and competences young people gain through them. Since its foundation, NAPORs main achievements are: - Developed a set of standards of quality in non-formal education in youth work and process of accreditation of youth work programs; - 59 member organisations undergone the process of accreditation of their programs that got recognition of Ministry of Youth and Sports; - Developed 3 vocational standards in area of professional non-formal education (1.
