National Biotechnology Research Center - CRBt

The Biotechnology Research Center (C.R.Bt) is a Public Institution of a Scientific and Technological Nature (EPST) established by Executive Decree No. 07-338 on the 19th of Chaoual 1428, corresponding to October 31, 2007, and placed under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS). It is mandated with the implementation of scientific research and technological development programs in the field of biotechnology, with a focus on advancing human and animal health, ensuring food security, and addressing environmental monitoring and protection. The primary mission of the C.R.Bt is to contribute to meeting the fundamental needs of the country and fostering the development of a sustainable bioeconomy to enhance the well-being and quality of life of citizens.
