National Design Center

The National Design Centre (NDC) is a statutory body established under the National Crafts Council and Allied Institutions Act No: 35 of 1982 and which commenced operations in 1983, At present the Centre functions under the State Ministry of Batik, Handloom and Local Apparel Products providing market-oriented designs, technology transfer programmes, consultancy services, information and research findings to the handicraft sector
