Family-Owned, Local Roots National Design Mart is locally-owned and founded by the King family. Their father, Dennis, first sold flooring in Akron in the 1960s. Now the second generation Ryan and Chris continue to serve longtime and new customers with the same passion. Theres Only One National Design Mart Were not a chain. Our home office isnt in some faraway city. The owners dont live in some other state. In fact, the owners are probably in the same store where you are shopping... making that daily commitment to customers and community that they learned from their dad.
