National Economic Consultative Forum

The National Economic Consultative Forum (NECF) is a think tank on socio-economic policy issues that was established on 17 July, 1997 in line with the 1995 National Budget statement. The organisation is mandated to convene evidence-based Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) amongst key players in the economy with a view to coming up with credible policy recommendations/policy options on various socio-economic issues. The key players include; Government, Business, Labour, Academia, and Civil Society.
