National Education Management Information System

Education plays an essential role in the economic development of our country. It is for this reason that education constitutes one of the major foundations of the Emerging Senegal Plan. Consequently, the modernization of the information system should be pursued with a view to better use of information and communication technologies in the design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the educational policies of the government of the Senegal. The key to accessing and using the information and management system is the National Education Identifier (IEN). A unique identifier is assigned to each member of the education staff as well as to students, teachers and parents. This identifier is used to connect to the information system and access the wifi network, professional e-mails, digital resources and the various dedicated platforms.
