(NPAQ) is a non-governmental, membership-based not-for-profit organisation that promotes the preservation, expansion and good management of national parks and other forms of protected areas in Queensland. Established in 1930, NPAQ has played a pivotal role in the creation of many national parks in Queensland, including iconic parks such as Girraween National Park.
