National Secretariat of Open Government Indonesia

The National Secretariat of Open Government Indonesia (OGI) was formed to facilitate the achievement of the Open Government Indonesia National Action Plan (NAP) and to coordinate with stakeholders in consolidating other open government movements, both at national and regional levels. The secretariat is a sub-unit within the Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia, under the Directorate of State Apparatus. OGP Aiming to establish a global innovation and transparency movement, OGI initially began from the Open Government Partnership, a multilateral agreement between Indonesia and 7 other countries. Since its founding in 2011, OGP now has 78 member countries and a growing number of local members that work alongside thousands of civil society organizations.
