The National Stokvel Association of South Africa is a self-regulatory organisation mandated by the South African government to represent the interests of the Stokvel sector, as contemplated in Government Gazette 37903. In terms of the Banks Act 1990 (Act No. 94 of 1990), a Stokvel group is required to be a member of NASASA or a similar body approved by the Registrar of Banks. Our organisation sees a future where our society is equal.
