National Union of Kuwaiti Students, USA

The National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) is a non-for profit organization in the United States. The organization works directly with the Kuwait Embassy to provide a fruitful educational journey for Kuwaiti students in the USA. NUKS was established in 2002, when a a small group of students founded the union to act as a second embassy thats caters towards the students personal, education and entertainment needs. It has grown to have 100+ volunteers working for the organization, caring for more than 12,000 Kuwaiti students in the US. NUKS is sponsored by the Kuwaiti government and many private companies with a annual budget of USD 2 million. The National Union appoints representatives that support students in their respective state. Representatives are in charge of planning and organizing events or seminars throughout the year.
