National University of CheaSim Kamchaymea (NUCK)

National University of CheaSim Kamchaymea is newest name from Chea Sim University of Kamchaymear formerly Maharishi Vedic University, was established in 1991 under the initiative of the Royal Government of Cambodia with the support of Australian Aid for Cambodia Fund (AACF) in Kamchaymear District, Prey Veng Province corresponding to the long-term vision of Samdech Akka Moha Thamma Pothisal Chea Sim, President of National Senate of Kingdom of Cambodia taking into consideration the future of youths in all provinces-municipalities of the Kingdom of Cambodia aiming to equip them with adequate capacity to respond to the labour market for contributing to the social development. Since AACF ended its aid package, Samdech Krola Hom Sar Kheng Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior was entrusted by the Royal Government with the leading role in the construction and development of Chea Sim University of Kamchaymear to promote its new image and trust in the field of higher education training
