At NVHS, we believe that no veteran should be left behind on the streets. Thats why we have been working tirelessly since 2008 to provide help for homeless and at-risk veterans and their families with the support they need to secure a stable and dignified life. Here are some of our achievements and services: - We have reduced the homeless veteran population in Brevard County by 90%, from 1,800 in 2008 to less than 200 in 2023. - We provided street outreach, prevention case management, and transitional housing to over 400 veterans and their families in the last 12 months. - We have received a Gold Star rating on GuideStar and a 4 Star rating on Charity Navigator for our fiscal responsibility and transparency. We are proud of the work we have done, but we know there is still more to do.
