Prirodnjacki muzej u Beogradu je jedna od najstarijih srpskih nacionalnih ustanova. U Srbiji je jedini muzej takve vrste, a po bogatstvu i raznovrsnosti primeraka, postignutim rezultatima u oblasti muzeologije i nauke jedan je od vodecih prirodnjackih muzeja u jugoistocnoj Evropi. Zvanicno je osnovan 1895. godine, kao Jestastvenicki muzej srpske zemlje. Danas muzej ima preko 1.7 miliona eksponata koji opisuju prirodu Srbije i koji se cuvaju u 120 zbirki. Natural History Museum in Belgrade is one of the oldest Serbian national institutions. In Serbia it is the only Museum of its kind, and by richness and diversity of museum pieces, achievements in the field of museology and Science is one of the leading natural history museums in South East Europe. It was officially established in 1895, as Jestastvenicki Museum of Serbian country. Today museum has over 1.7 million museum pieces describing the nature of Serbia and stored in 120 collections
