The Nature Discovery Centers interactive hands-on approach to learning is designed to nurture the inquiring mind, awaken childrens natural curiosity and sense of wonder, and spark interest in the study of nature and science. The Nature Discovery Center includes the four-acre Russ Pitman Park and the Discovery Rooms are housed in the historic Henshaw House.
