Navex is a specialized shipping agent and a part of GRUPO ETE. It was founded on October 9th, 1967 in the port of Lisbon. Initially, Navex saw rapid development, which led the directors to decide on opening a new office in the main Northern Portuguese port of Oporto, followed by the southern port of Sines, which is one of the fastest-developing hubs. Later, Navex opened further o-ces and presently includes branches in the ports of Setubal, Aveiro, Faro, Figueira da Foz, Viana do Castelo, and the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores.
