Controls have been supplying industrial and commercial electrical products to the Australian electrical industry since 1990. From meagre beginnings in Melbournes outer Northern Suburbs, the company was founded by Neville and Karen Whyte in the back room of Nevilles mothers home in Macleod, Melbourne. Tracey Pascoe and Jan Sturzaker were then added to the staff. It was soon realised that to expand the business, Neville and Karen needed to move into larger premises so the decision was made to move to a small office/warehouse in Greensborough. Soon after this move, John Cartwright, Darren Mantynen and Graeme Thomson were added to the staff. The business rapidly expanded and quickly outgrew the Greensborough warehouse. N.A.W.
