NCT Transnational Corp

On June 27, 1989, NCT Transnational Corp. (formerly Transnational Shipping Services Inc.) was created as a wholly owned subsidiary of TDC to provide services such as chassis management and truck leasing only for NYK Shipping Lines. On April 15, 1996, the companys name was changed to Transnational All Transport Services Corp. (TATSCOR). TATSCOR was formed on July 17, 1997, as a joint venture partnership between the Nippon Container Terminal Co. Ltd. Japan and TDC, where it has a license to operate not only as a transport service provider but also as a container depot operator. NCTTC was in charge of NYKs Chassis Leasing and Trucking Operations at the time. In May 1999, the joint venture was restructured to include NYK Fil-Japan Shipping Corp. as a partner. NCTTCs involvement in a variety of industries enabled it to recognize its strengths, which led to a gradual shift in its business model.
