NDI Ukraine

The National Democratic Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization working to support and strengthen democratic institutions worldwide through citizen participation, openness and accountability in government. NDI has supported Ukraines democratic development from the earliest days of its independence. Over the past 30 years, the Institute has developed broad and deep relationships with government representatives, national and local leaders of parties across the political spectrum, and a broad network of civic actors. Over three decades of independence, Ukrainians have consistently defended their democracy against threats both external and internal. The Revolution of Dignity in 2014 demonstrated the Ukrainian commitment to democratic reforms and a closer relationship with the West.
