Neighborhood Counseling Center

Since 1983, the Neighborhood Counseling Center (NCC) has provided comprehensive mental health services to Brooklyn and surrounding communities. NCC is staffed by a team of social workers and psychiatrists committed to our purpose, and who have demonstrated professional competence and ability in their field. Your team of providers will individualize a program that addresses your needs. Your program may consist of individual therapy and/or one of our support groups. If appropriate, your partner or family members may be included in our efforts to help you achieve your treatment goals. Through therapy, your provider will help you identify the issues that are causing you to engage in non-productive or self-defeating behaviors and help you develop the skills to cope and resolve the issues that cause your conflict.
