Neighborhood House Louisville

Neighborhood House is a community-based non-profit organization serving the Portland neighborhood of Louisville, KY. Our mission is to provide individuals with opportunities to enhance the quality of their lives. Our vision is to break the cycle of poverty for our children and families. Life Needs. Life Skills. Life Dreams describes the focus of the program services provided by Neighborhood House. We meet vital basic needs and make a long-term impact on the lives of those we serve. The Youth Development Program and Child Development Program served almost 550 children in 2013 and over 11,300 meals were served to youth through the Kids Cafe program. Over 2,500 individuals, including youth and senior citizens were helped at Neighborhood House through Family Services and Senior Citizen programming as well as an on-site food bank.
