Nelson River Construction was formed in Winnipeg during the First World War, in the 1950s moved to 101 Dawson Road, in Winnipeg MB which is still site for our Repair and Maintenance Facilities and storage for our large fleet of equipment. In 2023, our main office relocated to 730 Taylor Avenue. Incorporated in 1923 to build sewer and water facilities, Nelson River soon expanded into concrete and asphalt paving. As our reputation grew, so did our company. Now in our 5th generation of ownership and surpassing 100 years in business we attribute our longevity and success to the incredible people who have worked in the Nelson River organization over this timeframe. Today we operate inter-provincially with expertise in many areas of heavy construction from aggregate processing, concrete and asphalt paving and tunneling to construction of lift stations and pump houses.
