Behind this delicate balancing act is N.E.S. Inc. founder, Nolan E. Schriner. In 1978 Schriner left his position as Land Development Manager for the City of Colorado Springs to start his own land planning firm. Today, N.E.S. Inc. is responsible for the planning of 50,000 acres of land and about 80,000 residential units in Colorado Springs and the Rocky Mountain region. N.E.S. Inc. is comprised of a team of professionals with masters degrees in city planning and landscape architecture, as well as computer support specialists and administrative staff.
